DOHA - The Qatar Olympic Academy (QOA) , in cooperation with the IOC Olympic Solidarity Commission concluded on Thursday a pioneering five – day training course “ Modern Management of Sport Organizations” being organized at the QOA Headquarters in Doha.
This course was the first one that attended personally by more than 45 trainees, after a one year and seven months stop period due to COVID-19 pandemic . During that period all courses were held online as announced by the QOA in March last year.
The course key speaker, Dr. Sulaiman bin Ali Al Baloushi, Executive Director of Oman Olympic Committee and former Omani Basketball Federation delivered a series of presentations about the values of management skills, effective communication, work environment management and team work to achieve the objectives of the sport organizations and to meet their highest standards of performance .
This course was mainly aims to increase the learning and field experience of the QOC’s administrative employees and others and helping them to turn more professional in dealing with the organizational and administrative issues during the host of championships .
Qatar Olympic Academy concluded on Tuesday the Olympic Values Education Workshop, which is held periodically by the Academy in cooperation with the International Olympic Academy and Olympic Solidarity at the International Olympic Committee, whether at the headquarters of the Qatar Olympic Academy or in the venues of events, schools and others.
Qatar Olympic Academy concluded the Modern Management Course in Sports Institutions (Management 2), the second qualifying program to enter the Diploma in Sports and Olympic Institutions Management program held by the Academy this year in its thirteenth edition.

As part of a series of sports management programs accredited by the International Olympic Committee and held by the Qatar Olympic Academy periodically throughout the year, the Academy concluded the course of the principles of the Olympic movement in the sports system "Management 1", which was organized in cooperation with the Olympic solidarity in the International Olympic Committee, as this course is the first qualifying course for the diploma program in the management of sports and Olympic institutions held by the Academy for the thirteenth year, which witnesses a large turnout of students interested in administrative work in The sports field, both from inside and outside the State of Qatar, this program has graduated many sports leaders in the region in general and in the Gulf Cooperation Council in particular.
